The In2Care Mosquito Trap is designed to both attract and eliminate mosquitoes by leveraging their natural breeding behavior. Female mosquitoes seeking a place to lay eggs are drawn into the trap, where they come into contact with a special larvicide and fungus. As they leave the trap and land in other water sources, they unknowingly spread the larvicide, contaminating multiple breeding sites and killing mosquito larvae before they develop into adults. Within days, the adult mosquitoes that entered the trap also die, significantly reducing the population. Unlike traditional treatments that only kill mosquitoes on contact, this system provides an ongoing, self-spreading solution that works beyond just the immediate treatment area.
